‘The Jethroverse’ Season 2 and ‘Multiversal’ Pushed to 2019; Crossover Confirmed

In a surprise announcement, it has been revealed by series creator/producer Rowan Wood that the premiere dates of the second season of The Jethroverse and the first season of spinoff series Multiversal has been pushed to 2019, from the previously-announced late 2018.

The premiere date has been set for a while now, but Wood has waited a while to announce the news. “I wanted to see if plans changed before I made them permanent,” he said in an official statement.

If the series had premiered in late 2018, it would have been in December, Wood further revealed. The new 2019 date will be no more than a few months later, so it won’t be too long before Jethro Smith returns to our screens for brand-new adventures.

Also according to Wood, the two shows will premiere on the same day, and will “be more involved in each other’s business than you might think. There will, in fact, be a crossover across both shows that will feature most, if not all, of the core characters.”

Although there’s currently no further details as to when these crossover episodes will be placed in the respective seasons, we are looking forward to seeing how Jethro crosses paths with the Multiversal crew.
