‘The Jethroverse’ Spinoffs Add New Cast Member

Recently, a whole slew of Jethroverse spinoffs were announced, including Burn, featuring Cayde Barrera returning as the Superintendent and Danial Cousins as an Irish serial killer, and an untitled spinoff focusing on Rose Callas, a character introduced in the third season of The Jethroverse.
Those two spinoffs, as well as an unknown future one, have gained a new cast member in Sebastian Rieckehoff, a stage actor who recently performed in Sturgis Charter School’s production of Legally Blonde and who will have a role in the school’s forthcoming one-act play, Dark Road.

Rieckehoff will be playing Salazar Valentin, a character with direct ties to Barrera’s Superintendent. At this time, it’s not known how large Salazar’s role will be, but he will appear in both Burn and the Rose Callas spinoff, as well as another spinoff, which is yet to be confirmed.
Rieckehoff’s casting means that there will be coherence between these different spinoffs in terms of story and characters, and there will be connections between them, even though they are cxrretrly advertised as being standalone.
Burn will premiere sometime this fall, and the untitled Rose Callas spinoff premieres in the winter.

New Jethroverse Spinoff ‘BURN’ Announced, Scheduled for Fall 2020 Release

Now that 2019 is over, and The Jethroverse has concluded, the door has been opened to future spinoffs and continuations of the story begun by the classic series. And now, the very first one has been announced.
It’s called Burn, and it was announced yesterday in a video featuring director/writer Rowan Wood and stars Danial Cousins and Cayde Barrera.
Check out the video below:

It’s a direct spinoff of The Jethroverse, and it even features Barrera reprising their role as the Superintendent of the Multiversal Police Department. Cousins will play Cillian Byrne, a murderer who is forced to work with the Superintendent in order to track down a certain individual (whose identity constitutes a spoiler) in a mission that could save the multiverse.
It is currently unknown if Burn will be a miniseries or a short film, but it is known that it will feature more new and returning characters, in order to further connect with its parent series.
Burn is the first of many spinoffs coming in 2020 and 2021.
Burn will premiere sometime this fall.
