‘The Jethroverse’ Season 3 Trailers Introduce the Beginning of the End

The Screen Avenger has released two brand-new for the upcoming third and final season of The Jethroverse.

The second teaser trailer is set to the Johnny Cash song Hurt, and only has two pieces of dialogue. However, the trailer also provides insight into how Vincent Kane (Xander McInerney) reacts to his changing of the timeline; he is reading a file that shows images of everyone who disappeared as a consequence of the timeline change.

The trailer also features the Superintendent (Cayde Barrera), Ezra Thorne (Rowan Wood), Raelyn Niveus (Paige Joy), Aaron and Andrew Palmer (Quinn Schuyler and Macklin Devine), Geoffrey Jackson (Lir Wood), Jethro Smith (Brennen Savery), Claire Martin (Annalise Langelier), and Drake & Wayne (Max Papsadore and Patrick Morahan). The abundance of characters featured only goes to show that this season will expand even further into the multiverse.

The second trailer begins with a brief recap of the time(line)-changing events of the Season 2 finale, with Claire Martin proclaiming to Vincent how horrible the new timeline is. We then get to see how Raelyn Niveus and Raegan Cassell (Carmela Davies) are recruited by Rose Callas (Olivia Wilson) to be some sort of time police. We begin to get a sense that the central mission of the police, specifically Raelyn, is to track down Vincent and Claire and make them answer for what they (more specifically Vincent) did.

The Superintendent proclaims to Drake and Wayne that since Vincent was the one who screwed up the timeline, that means it is up to him to fix it. Vincent needs to know if there is at least a glimmer of hope of preserving the timeline, likely because his brother Ryker (Connor McInerney), also seen in this trailer, is alive and well.

At the end of the trailer, Vincent and Claire are seen talking to someone, who turns out to be Johann (John Shortis), miraculously returning after his death in the Season 1 finale.
