In the first season of The Jethroverse, star Brennen Savery primarily portrayed Jethro Smith, but in the season’s third episode, Discovery, he played at least four of the character’s doppelgängers from around the multiverse.
In the currently-filming second season of the show, Savery has been confirmed to be regularly playing the different “Jethros,” in addition to Jethro Smith.
Co-creator and executive producer Rowan Wood says that “Brennen has a talent for playing multiple characters that are so different, but also so alike because of their appearance and age. He’ll be on screen with himself at the same time more than once this season, playing all sorts of different Jethros.”
In addition to The Jethroverse Season 2 news, it’s also been revealed that Jethro Smith is not the main role that Savery will be playing in the first season of Jethroverse spinoff Multiversal, and he’ll be primarily playing Jory Smith, a character who he played in the Jethroverse Season 1 finale. However, even though it’s not his main character, Savery will be playing Jethro Smith in at least one episode.
The Jethroverse Season Two and Multiversal Season One will premiere later this year on Cape Cod’s Channel 99 and on YouTube.
